Kestrel Wildlife Safaris (KWS) was launched in April 2023. With conservation at its heart KWS provides an opportunity for people to experience and connect with the amazing landscapes and wildlife of north-east Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, also known as Breadalbane or 'The High Ground of Scotland'. KWS not only promotes and supports conservation locally, but also supports conservation in Madagascar.
At Kestrel Wildlife Safaris we understand that wildlife around the world is in trouble and have chosen to support conservation in Madagascar by giving £1 of all safari experiences sold to the conservation NGO the Madagascar Fauna & Flora Group (MFG) to help them in their fight to conserve an iconic area of Madagascar's eastern tropical rainforest. We also offset our carbon emissions with donations to MFG.
Safaris are limited to a maximum of six people per safari, making conversation easy and increasing your chances of experiencing wildlife.
Your safari will take you onto one or more Highland estates. The landowners and managers look after this area with wildlife in mind and have generously allowed Kestrel Wildlife Safaris to use their land and to experience the rich wildlife.
The welfare of the wildlife we are viewing is paramount to us, so while every effort will be made to give you a great experience, your guide will keep disturbance to the wildlife to a minimum.
