"My daughter, Clare, booked a Wildlife Safari for my husband and I as a birthday present. Gareth was an absolutely inspiring guide and gave me in particular a renewed insight into the amazing world of wildlife, such that I had not experienced before. He took us on a trail that led us high up above Loch Earn where the views were spectacular. He supplied us with binoculars as well as a scope to view amazing birds and deer. He never tired of answering our many questions and even supplied us with refreshments half way through. Most definitely a trip to be recommended. Thank you Gareth!" Today we made an Exploration Safari with Gareth. It has been an amazing and great experience. Gareth has a wide knowledge and we could see that it is not any business for him to guide this safaris. It is his passion to show people the stunning wildlife and to give them a lot of information about it. Although it rained most time of the day, we were lucky and spotted red deer (female, calves and also male), fallow deer (female with calves), a sea eagle, a buzzard and a lot of small birds in glens and mountains we could never could go in without an experienced guide, because they are in private estates and not suitable for normal cars. Gareth offers a wonderful view of the Trossachs, off the beaten path amongst the verdant woods and hills. Even though we had a drizzly day the scenery was majestic, and we saw a good number of bird species including birds of prey, plus several deer with the delight of watching a fawn suckling on its mum. Gareth is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our discussions on conservation and wildlife. The time flew by and left us wanting more. Thank you Gareth! Would highly recommend. Took my nephew on this tour as it’s of interest to him & the course he’s doing. Gareth was amazing, his knowledge on so many different areas was huge. Overcast first thing but didn’t stop us seeing lots of different small birds, deer (last years & this years calves) sheep/cows Gareth pointed out some flowers/heathers, landscape (stunning) then on the way back the best was saved until last 2 red kites, buzzard, raven, crow, small birds deer & sheep all flying/sitting on the top of a ridge, perfect end to the tour. I had an excellent morning safari with Gareth and enjoyed some spectacular views from Auchlyne Estate which I would never have otherwise been able to access. Plenty of deer to be seen along with a red kite, buzzard, red squirrels and plenty of sheep! The hot chocolate and shortbread were much appreciated on a rather chilly damp November morning. Gareth is very knowledgeable on all areas of conservation and I enjoyed our discussions. All in all, an excellent morning trip and very good value. Nicola Thorley, Manchester, 22/11/2023
